Montauk Pines

Absolutely loved the stay. The owner Dave was very kind, sharing fishing secrets, ideas, and even some bait! He showed us his favorite spots and even fished with us and showed us the ropes, as this was our first trout fishing excursion. Our cabin was very clean, nice, and has everything you need. Beds were comfy, just all together a nice stay. Highly recommend this place rather it be for fishing, hiking, floating a nearby river or to just get away and relax. Montauk State Park is literally right down the hill, 5 minutes and you can be fishing for trout. The picture shown was our last morning, we didn’t have a lot of time to fish but still came home with a few. We will be back!!

Beautiful place, very clean cabins that Dave has set up with a perfect blend of modern amenities and rustic decor. Quiet and peaceful area that delivers soothing stars capes at night and beautiful sunrise/sunsets o'er the the pines! Tranquil and therapeutic. Dave also leaves you some goodies to appease the late night sweet tooth 😁. He's a most gracious host, knowledgeable of the area, helpful and can direct you to many nice areas to fish. I had a great time and highly recommend staying at the pines. Thank you Dave!

Cute, comfortable, and an excellent place to stay! Everything looks new indoors and the cabins have a cozy outdoor space to rest by a fire and roast marshmallows. I highly recommend booking Montauk Pines!

Two friends and I stayed for 4 nights this past week/weekend at Montauk Pines. We had an epic time! The cabin and property was wonderful. Awesome fire pit and peaceful views of pine trees covering most of the property. The location so close to the State Park and current river made it a trout fishing trip of a lifetime. Dave is extremely knowledgeable about the area and gave us some great local advice which led to us catching our limit of trout every day! Awesome memories were made. We will return!

What a LOVELY and comfortable place!!! Everything you need, including s'mores fixins and ice cream sandwiches!!! There's a large fire pit and wood is available. Wifi and a TV to get your weather report. A freezer especially for your catches (and ice cream sandwiches) 😁 Dave has thought of EVERYTHING to make your get away enjoyable. And he's so helpful in knowing where to go fish, float, swim or sight see! Quiet, relaxing and beautiful. What more could you want?!!! We've gone for 3 years in a row. Our sons favorite birthday destination! (10yrs old) Highly recommend if you're looking for a truly relaxing, comfortable vacation spot that's run by amazingly caring and thoughtful people.
