Stopped for a visit. Did not camp. Beautiful place on the Metolius River.
Wet secluded and on the Metolius. Beautiful
Monte was ruined when the USFS went from primitive to modern camping with more signs Telling you which way to go than there were campsites. This money had to be spent due to an agreement with the dam producers by way of recreation improvements. Not an improvement. Stay away and find another campsite. Very disappointing.
It's a nice area but the bugs are just too much.
It was a very quiet nice place. Clean and no signs of anyone else.
