We loved our campsite. All the campsites are nice with full hookups at Monument Park. What I did not like is how people walk through your campsites that are looking for fishing spots. We pay to back up to the trout pond but it is full from all the people who pay for day use. There are so many people using three to four poles and a chair. There was one guy with three poles set up at the back of our trailer and walking around fishing as well. Then he would come check on his other poles. Frustrating! They charge extra to fish. Well I wont do that again!
We paid for double pull through site #94 and we’re very disappointed at how small our site was. Yes you could fit 2 trailers if need be but where do you sit outside? The lay out was very confusing and 2 workers who assisted didn’t even understand which table and fire pit was for us. Neighbors fire pit was 15ft from my truck. I’m sure there are better spots but we wanted to be close to water but that also means everyone walks right through your camp spot to get to water. Sheriff patrolled a lot in campsite but didn’t see or hear any problems other then normal campers wanting everyone to hear their music.
At Lake Comanche for the Northern California Grand Design RV Rally. 100 GD RV's here. Bars open, cigars lit and music playing. Our first time here and it's really nice. The rally gets a 5 star..... no bathrooms (porta potties) or showers. Close proximity to the water.
Nice site seem really good for trailers some site are good for 35 foot motorhomes not all site are flat most tilt towards the cabins the last site near the turnabout are closest the water but it can be a rocky walk very peaceful and closer to the long term residence
