This place has been open since September 2023, so please disregard any prior reviews! This is a cultural experience, so please respect the uniqueness of it. Aaron is a wonderful host who included all guests night and day in a song circle--beautiful! He has built this place with love. Very natural and thoughtful design... and what a view from here! He is kind and knowledgeable of the area. Very authentic people, he was eating pizza while he showed me around and where else do you get that? This is not a resort but a site with nice amenities and good energy. The family atmosphere that Aaron created feels just like its name--a tipi village. Children and dogs playing, guests in the common area laughing and eating. It's been a blessing and I look forward to returning!
I must say it's one of the unique places we stayed during our cross country trip. We had a good campsite (You have to bring your own tent) or they have Tipis as well which is great. We cooked food, there's a good area to cook (bring your own food to cook) and there are pots, pans and stoves. Good Restrooms even shared very clean and safe. Aaron who took care of us, is wonderful, helpful, polite and enthusiastic. He even sang a beautiful Navajo song for us and let us play some Navajo instruments with him. Had a great vibe around. He has three lovely pets Zeus, Peewee 2 cute dogs and a cute cat too. We enjoyed their company so much. We were able to sleep peacefully. And it has a good view of monument valley as well. If we come there we will definitely stay again. Aaron good luck and keep this up..!
Best place we stayed on our trip. The landscape is stunning and at night, shooting stars and the milky way light up the sky. Aaron is such a wonderful host and truly cares about all his guests’ comfort.
Campground run by local natives. You can spend your night in the Indian tipi or use your own tent. Full hookups for RVs available. The facilities are clean, with hot showers, flush toilets, and heaters in the cabins and restrooms. Wi-Fi is a bit spotty near the tent sites but if you want to use your hotspot Verizon has very good network here with ~60mbps download speeds
Charming place to stay. The owner is very friendly and make sure we are comfortable with our RV stay. He gave us a tour around thieir tipi and wood lodge. Looks comfy and warmth for the stay. Check it out. 👍🌟🤓
