Traveled by bicycle. Dogs barked all night long in surrounding area. Lady in a van tried to go through the stuff on my bike and immediately hightailed it back to her van when my motion alarm went off. Beautiful place, but not quiet and not safe.
I live 3 miles from here. I am here 5 of of 7 days. Great place to begin a adventure or end one depending on which way your coming from.. very peaceful...
This campsite ended up being a last resort for us but I’m so glad we came across it! Somewhat Small and right off of the road but there are a couple of spots in a more private area near the creek. Nice beach/water access area to put canoes in, or cook breakfast!
We got here yesterday and so far so good. Looks like there's four camp sites with tables and pits. Restroom is by far the best one we've seen since camping. There's a path that leads down where were at and so far fishing is ok.lots of trees down in the water so plenty of snags. Plan on walking down to the beach part tomorrow.
I went here 6 years ago. An excellent place to stay, pitch a tent, park an RV. There is a nice enough bathroom. Free camping. Nice people. Water spigot. Thank you for taking care of this spot!
