Clean, well-kept campground with friendly staff. We liked that it is set in rural Florida amidst ranches and sugar cane farms, but only a half hour to groceries and shopping. No traffic issues. No crowds. Large sites. We'll be returning next winter from Michigan for our third year.

Owner obviously doesn't care about this location as the electric all over the park has major issues, tons of power outages since I've been here I've been here a yr now if I had a truck to move my camper I would have been gone. On site manager is rude and disrespectful always she can't even keep employees because she doesn't respect them. And doesn't really chip in on the work that truly needs to be done she makes employees sit on golf carts outside all day on their shifts it got up to 105 some days last summer and an employee passed away because he had over hydrated sitting in the heat R.I.P. Gary the best employee that worked here. I do not recommend anymore than a night or two here. Laundry machines a majority of them are broke down...its been a yr... no atm or debit card reader for the change machine so you have to drive 5-10 miles to pull out cash just to do your laundry. So much more to list but you get the point would rate 0 stars but not an option.

Owner don't allow dog fences, no screened tents. Have a couple of small dogs that help protect them if they sneak out when entering or leaving the motorhome. We like sitting outside with our dogs without out being bite by mosquitoes. There are too many rules for a KOA CG... Dollar General only stores with in 30-minute drive. The camp store only has a couple cans of pop or ice cream bars.

This campground was converted to a KOA in April of 2020. Although few upgrades have been made so far, many improvements are planned including upgrades to existing sites, Frisbee golf, etc. We were surprised how much vacancy there was during our Spring break stay. This modest campground has fantastic potential. The staff have been nothing but friendly and kind. If you want Wi-Fi at your campsite, there is a hefty charge per connected device and the speed is unimpressive. Fire ants were a recurring issue during our 4 night stay. The campground shares a fence with a cow pasture, but as there is a constant breeze from the East, we never noticed any unpleasant smells. We enjoyed watching the cows and visiting with the friendly donkeys. With a few upgrades, thus will be a fantastic family getaway.

We had a very relaxing stay in our 5th wheel RV camper. The campground is under new management this year. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and fun! The location is remote but you can drive within 20-30 minutes to some really nice places. It is easy on/off the highway. There is a convenience store in the office for some generic ammenities. The sites are level and clean. There is a nice playground for children and also an enclosed area for dogs to run off-leash. The campground has a few different ponds to go fishing with nice views of surrounding grazing farm animals. No swiming in the ponds, though- don't forget, Florida is 'gator country! No worries- the pool is really nice. It is large and clean with a lot of really nice furniture for lounging and chatting. The property is very large. We loved strolling around each night and sat outside to enjoy the sunset. We will defintely be back to stay again on our way to and from the Florida Keys!
