Moorings Campground

Very nice RV resort. The place was very clean and the staff was great. It is the perfect place for adults without children. The view was fantastic. One of the best bathrooms we’ve had it was clean water was hot perfect. Unfortunately we came at closing time but they were happy to wait until we were checked in and in our site. Highly recommended🦞!!

Wish this was closer! We absolutely loved our 3 night stay in Site #1. The staff here are so friendly and helpful. Can't beat the views and we really enjoyed walking down to the beach area. To have a campfire with and ocean view is the best!

Very clean and very well kept RV Resort. We stayed 2 nights at Moorings campground and are already planning to come back. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The check in process was very thorough and detailed (more than any other place we've stayed). The hosts were around the grounds consistantly asking if everyone was doing well and if anyone needed anything. Best customer service and excellent maintenance of an RV resort we've experienced. Laundry is very affordable and clean. Bathrooms and showers are also very clean. The view of the water and the private beach were an added bonus. Thank you!

Amazing views, very quiet and peaceful, very accommodating staff (Elizabeth and Adam, and the other staff). Close to town of Belfast and 1.25 hours to Acadia. Only drawback is there isn’t much for kids to do at the campground (there is a SMALL play structure, but no pool). Bay is steps away though! We will be returning!!

Loved our experience at mooring rv park Belfast.The view was amazing on the ocean site.They went out of there way to gather firewood for us as they were out.Very friendly!!Very nice clean park.We will be back!

We recently stayed at Moorings Oceanfront RV Resort in Belfast. We already loved this campground for the sites, views and proximity to the town of Belfast. I now need to add for the wonderful people who work/run this campground - they are fabulous. From leading you to your site for easiest parking, to helping anyone who needs it to park their RV and most of all for all the help they gave us when our truck suddenly had to go into a busy shop for repairs. Our 1 week stay turned into 2 weeks & 1 day and they were fabulous, from finding a site we could move to and stay on for an indefinite amount of time, and allowing us to basically extend & pay for our stay a few days at a time, and racking their brains to see if there might be another shop nearby to help. Many, many thanks to everyone there!!!

Lovely little camping spot on the water. We had a waterfront site. It was a beautiful view everyday. I enjoyed walking along the water watching the birds and looking for snails. The campground is small with not many perks but it was just what we were looking for. Nice location too. My only complaint…some of the staff were not super friendly. They may need some training on how to interact with their guests. Thankfully we didn’t have much contact with them, but first impressions weren’t great. Overall, I would recommend a stay here and would return myself.
