Here’s what our happy customers have to say about their experience:
- "We were passing through so only stayed 2 nights and wish we had more time. Booked RV site #6 and were very impressed with the amount of space we had and privacy."
- "It’s a pricey campground, but with all the amenities it provides, it’s understandable and worth it for us. Everything we saw was very well maintained. Huge store, nice playground, and arcade."
- "Since we were there for only 1 full day we splurged and rented a cabana and very glad we did. We have a 6 & 8-year-old and they played all day in the pool, going down the slides over and over. They had a blast and we liked that the pool was shallow enough and felt very safe."
- "I read some reviews of people complaining about staff and we had good luck as we had Patrick at check-in. He was the gem of the place, super welcoming and helpful. We’ll be back if we are ever in the area again!"
- "This was such a fun place to go camping with kids. The heated pool is awesome and the water slides are so fun. I personally loved swimming in the natural pool. Someone did come onto our site and steal chicken from our cooler and our paper plates but other than that it was a lovely experience and we will definitely be going back next summer."

Great family campground with large private sites. We loved the pool, playground and the site. There are activities most days for kids (juggler, movies, etc.), an arcade, snack bar by the pool and good little camp store. A few things could have made this place a 5. Showers required quarters which seemed unnecessary with the rate for sites. No recycling, only trash.
Nickle and Dime, you! Started off 5 weeks before arrival, a change was needed due to my child's school orientation change. They stated either pay for a full additional night or you were charged $49+ just for making a change..ridiculous. Upon arrival, $45 as we were an hour early, mind you in pouring rain. Place was dead, no one in line or in nearby sites. Wood bundle $12 vs. truck load $20 down street. The store has target items at double the price. Only bathrooms not infested with bugs(daddy long legs, spiders, mosquitoes, etc.) were by the store/pool area. Kids refused to go to one nearby campsite. Quiet hours were not applicable as we had a loud large group of people partying until past 1am. NO wifi at sites. Only wifi at store. The online pictures are better than in person. Worst experience in 30yrs camping.
First impression, not happy because the place was dead and charged us $45 to check in 1 ½ hrs early - the place isn't exactly pristine, is in the middle of no where and was pretty much empty so I didn't get the problem- the site 141, is up a steep hill and is very washed out - our 35 fifth wheel crushed part of our tailgate because the site has no business being a site to accommodate a large camper from the way you have to pull in off the dirt washed out road There are a lot of reasons this only recieved 1 star on my end - this was a far cry from a resort. This is a long but thorough review: - resorts have clean facilities -resorts do not have showers that have terrible water quality and smell like feces -resorts have activities almost all day, that staff host -resorts are not run down -resorts do not push religious views -resorts are not terribly outdated -resorts have staff supervising pool areas, especially with small children -resorts usually have friendly staff The prices they charge and what they offer do not match up, people are not friendly, others have mentioned they are greedy and push religious views - while also not practicing what a true Christian would do. All around awkward... The wood was obviously wet because the fires were so smokey that it choked you out everywhere you went. My daughter has asthma and had to take her inhaler many times while at the pool (the only real thing to do.) While at the pool, the only day there was a "attendant" was Saturday and they did nothing at all. Kids were all going down slides super fast, kicking other kids in the back, tormenting kids at the end of the slide, kids are cutting up their feet somehow, my daughter had large cuts on her feet. It's just a joke - and the cabanas and covered shaded rental are outrageous by the way. Couldn't even believe what is going on around this pool. I was disgusted. And all the facilities are outdated and in need of replacements. Spend the money on that instead of cabanas no one uses.. "Poolside Cafe" is all cash, ATM fee is $4, bundle of wood $12, load of laundry is $5, .25 for a 5 minute shower that leaves hair disgusting and smells like a porter potty - a female and male staff also entered the bathroom while I was changing up so they could clean! Couldn't believe it! We saw jugglers twice in on our vacation, apparently thats all they offer for shows - both of them mentioned "how wonderful the resort in NY is and how great the family is, how they are such wonderful people and they give back to the community" etc. I don't quite think that was a coincidence...We tie-dyed t-shirts, staff does not assist its just a free for all, 2 kids shirts were $32. There was "trick or treating" but the place is huge and it's all on the campers to do the actual entire thing. The campground is not providing anything - don't waste your time with that Walmart is 26 minutes away, gas station is about 10/dollar general the same, Polar Caves are about 20 minutes. There are no restaurants or anything to do in the area - my opinion is to honestly go somewhere else. This place is not worth the small fortune you'll spend
