Moose Hillock Camping Resorts - NY

We had a fantastic stay at Moose Hillock RV Resort! The cleanliness of the entire campground really stood out—everything was spotless. The campsites were spacious and provided plenty of privacy, making our stay peaceful and relaxing. One of the highlights of our visit was the variety of activities available. We especially enjoyed the movie night in the pool—it was such a fun and unique experience! The on-site store was convenient and well-stocked with last-minute essentials, and we were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable pricing. Our only minor complaint was the cost of renting golf carts, which seemed a bit pricey, so we did a lot of walking. However, that was a small issue in an otherwise wonderful stay. Overall, we highly recommend Moose Hillock RV Resort for anyone looking for a clean, fun, and family-friendly camping experience!

Obviously, not rooms. But the campsites are great! Not the typical RV parking side by side. You get a semi private campsite with usually 2 RVs parked close by, but with a bit of woods in between, rather than a few trees or some grass. Lots of wooded area and places to walk or take the dogs. Huge heated pool with swim-in movie nights. Lots of activities for kids and families, or just sit quietly reading a book and catching up on some sleep. Very clean and well maintained. Good sized camp store for essentials. This is our 3rd year. 2 yrs at Lake George and 1 in NH. We much prefer the NY location, although the NH loc is very similar. Kids have a ball and look forward to the annual trip.

We were there the first week of August the whole resort was neat and clean, everyone was friendly, when we pulled in I noticed one of my trailer tires was going flat. By the Time I got to my site the tire was flat. I had a spare but no jack or tools, Rick from maintenance changed it to my spare told me to go Warren tire to get a new tire, they fixed it within a half hour, Rick came.back the morning we were leaving to put the new tire back on. Our vacation was a lot less stressful because of rick.highly recommend this place everyone loved the pool and slides. The campsites are large and private had a great time

We stayed from 6/29 to 7/6 of this year and when we first got to the resorts we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff that walked us through the map and where our site was located. When we got to the site, I was greeted by 2 young men that were weed whacking and leaf blowing. They apologized for any inconveniences and said if we needed anything else trimmed back just ask. They were very professional. The site was plenty big enough for our 30-foot camper, truck and Yukon XL. The sites are not on top of each other which is nice for privacy. We rented a golf cart for the week which I recommend due how big the resort is and a great way to keep young children entertained. The pool was clean and very fun. There are 2 slides, one for smaller children and one for older children and adults. The staff throughout our stay were nice and helpful. The arcade was clean and had plenty of games with pool table. They had events every day that were very family friendly such as horse rides, tie dye, 4th of July parade, and movies in the pool. We personally met Edward the owner of the resort multiple times briefly, he gave us recommendations on where to buy and view fireworks and which way to go to avoid traffic. He helped load wood and ice as well. When we were checking out, he helped us return our golf cart and we had a very nice conversation. He is committed to maintaining a clean and professional environment that's very family friendly. We will definitely be returning to this location and plan to go to the other location in the white mountains.

Fabulous place. Big private campsites. Friendly staff. Close to all Lake George and Saratoga has to offer. Fully stocked camp store. Wifi hot spots, otherwise have to use roaming. Pool looked nice, although we didn't use it. The resort is well maintained. We will be back!
