Extremely happy with our stay at Moreau Lake Park. The only issue is there are no grills available in the camp site. The lake is also clean and beautiful.

This is a really nice park, lots of places to walk, camp, there are a few cabins you can rent. The walk around the lake is great - wear good shoes, there's a little bit of terrain to hike. They have swim meets there, plenty of picnic tables, nice and peaceful place to fish or catch some sun and read a good book. There is a warming hut - I'm not sure what that is for, but it looks like it's functioning. Nice little getaway for a weekend.

We spent a long weekend at Moreau. My kids had lots of questions, and one of the Park Rangers was kind enough to stop and answer all their questions. Everyone we encountered was kind and helpful. They have wood and ice available at the front office for a reasonable cost, and they provided us with trial maps for hiking.

Low-key one of the best state parks in NY. We love staying here when we come to town to see concerts at SPAC. The campsites are relatively spaced out and private and they also have cabins for rent. The beach area is pretty big and there are tons of picnic tables and charcoal grills around, making it perfect to spend the day at the beach swimming, grilling, and laying in the sun. Beautiful place to spend time in the summer

Private spots, secluded. Try and book in advance. The water sights are always taken. I do a lot of camping. I really have nothing bad to say about this place. Very dog friendly too.
