Loved hiking here and wish I was staying in the campground so I could kayak the lake. There’s a restaurant open till October 31st. Not a person on the trail with us and as you can see fall is really showing off right now

This was the first time camping in this state park.. in general the campground is good. The Park has 3 loops of camping spots. Some hiking trails and a lake not too big, not many activities to do, but good to relax, the pit toilets are pit toilets.😅.. but it has a shower build what is a plus.

We camped here for 2 nights in our camper, the accommodations were great! We went on some trails and saw some lovely views of the lake. There is fishing and boating and you can rent paddle boats.

We stayed for 3 days and it was a great experience. Jane was absolutely wonderful checking in with us each day and she was such a gem to talk to! We even had a chat about the style tent we brought because it was something new that everyone was checking out. It was quiet for the most part and easy to get around the park. The showers were an added bonus! The lake was nice and the lily pads were fun to look at. We saw a deer right next to our camp and a decent sized turtle down by the lake. I think the next time we go we will pick an area that is more secluded as we were next to the park. I didn't realize it was such a busy spot and our dogs love people so it was fun to keep them at bay to say the least. We will be back in the fall for sure! Thank you Jane for being such a great host! :)

A beautiful and neat park with long trails. There is a large and clean camping area with very nice hosts. There is also a little restaurant where you may get some basic food including vanilla ice cream. The lake is pretty but not too big. Walking around it, I walked 22,000 steps and my wife's step count was 25,000. Even if that may not sound politically correct, we both enjoyed our walk in the same way.
