First time to Morro Bay State Park. Minutes away from beautiful Morro Bay. Beautiful place to do some camping. If you love hikes, Big pine trees, golfing, fishing, boating& sunsets then this is the place for you, Morro Bay State Park. Full hookups, Tent sites, showers. Gene & Teresa & Nute Morro Bay State Park.
Gorgeous spot, friendly hosts, amazing trails. But oh my goodness-- the raccoons are out of control! They really need to critter-proof the trashcans. They were in there all night like an all you can eat buffet. They came right up to our table, got into our car, etc.
Really nice park by a golf course. Free trolley ride at the entrance to go into town
Worst camping experience ever!. You're right next to everybody. The snoring coming from surrounding sites sounded like wild pigs. Other camps having isuues with what you say while attempting to have a good time. They on the other hand talk and laugh as loud as they want. Restrooms in poor shape. Half the showers were out of order. Just terrible!
close to the beach. there were some chatty owls in the trees above us and a man talking loudly in his sleep next door, but other than that it was a great camping experience. Not a lot of privacy or shade in between sites. more like a parking lot than a campground...
