Morro Strand State Beach campground is a wonderful place to camp.Steps from the beach!! We bring our van but there are tent camping spots too!! There is a camp host and wood for sale. Bathrooms are public but clean. Always a spot in the winter months. Always packed in the summer. Sunsets are spectacular!!

Just feet from the beach, this place can’t be beat for ocean access. Some of the spots are a little tight for RVs, and you’re on blacktop, essentially in a parking lot. But if your intent is to be on the beach, it’s perfect. It’s also close to lots of restaurants in Morro Bay. Basically, if you’re not looking for anything rustic, this will do. Locals use it on weekends so it can be a little loud, but a great stop during the week for a couple days or so.

This state beach campground is good if you have a camper or RV. Tenting is not ideal. The sites are small with no privacy and off on the side. Access to the beach is amazing but it's not dog friendly.

What a beautiful place to perch a long, narrow campground! It was crowded but very quiet after dark. Water spigots everywhere, 2 or 3 big restrooms. Take your own soap. No showers. We had a blast. Highly recommend for all sizes of camping accommodation.

Nice quiet beach camping with very little noisy neighbors. Met some great people from all over the globe. Grateful 🙏 Only drawback was no showers available at the site. Morrow bay state park has them to use on a token system.
