Camped here while offroading at AOAA. Pros: Very quiet and small site, so way better than the giant parking lot of a campground at AOAA. Plenty of porter potties and even showers. We did not try to shower due to cold weather. Every site had camper electric hookups and water spouts, loved the free water, however, out of the 5 sites between the group only one had normal electric outlets, and we were all tenting. Loved the swings for the kids. Cons: Firewood was rediculiosly pricey for the ammount given. They really need to update their website, it's completely useless. Not even a map and the sites are not marked.

We LOVE Mossy Point! We stayed here last month as our very first time camping as a family, in a tent no less, with young children. There were lots of young families and everyone was so friendly. Our site was level and grassy. It rained heavily and NO mud at all. The enclosed outdoor shower was perfect on a rainy night. Also very affordable and close to knoebels. Thank you Dan! We will be back next year :)

Great little campground for people that don't mind a more rustic "camping" experience - there aren't fancy facilities, for example. Otherwise though, sites were clean and well kept, and a good value when others nearby were booked full. The turn into the campground can be quite sharp from one direction so anyone with a trailer needs to come in from a certain direction, and you also definitely need to be aware when leaving as there's a pretty blind corner/knoll that traffic can sneak up on you from, in addition to being a relatively narrow road. The only complaints I can muster are the lack of a lock on the porta-potty near our site (I didn't check the other) and unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your outlook), there are no real set "quiet hours". That may or may not be an issue for some, but for example, there's a camper a few sites down that is either playing karaoke or just overly loud music that's resonating throughout the campground at past 1 am. Having a mentioned/posted quiet hour might potentially stave that sort off behavior more. (Additionally, someone must've decided to say something to the offender because as I write this, there's now a loud argument brewing and I expect it'll do nothing but escalate the volume.) Hopefully other guests have more respectful neighbors during their stay, as otherwise it's a lovely quiet campground a very short distance from Knoebels park with a scenic atmosphere.

We wanted to camp near Knoebles, but their prices are ridiculously expensive. Especially for just wanting to set up a tent with no connections. So I called around, and this campground was the only reasonably priced place that was nearby. The gentleman who led us to our site was wonderful, and I enjoyed talking to him. He pointed out where everything was, and bade us a good night (since we checked in very late). The grounds are nice and accommodating. Fire ring, picnic table that seems nice and new. And a more primitive bathroom and shower, but there regardless. I'm looking forward to coming back more to just camp, rather than just somewhere to sleep for the night.
