Motel 6 Grand Rapids, MI - Northeast

The rooms and the hotel itself is super nice. The front desk people were so nice and helpful but I didn't get room service until I asked and I was told to bring my towels to the front and they'll give me new ones. Also the other day I was standing in the lobby and one of the male workers started screaming and cussing some woman out and there were children in the lobby as well. Horrible customer service if you ask me. Other than that everyone was kind and the place was nice and clean and comfortable.

I could only give 2 stars. The front desk agents were friendly and that’s the nicest thing I have to say. I am unaware how true it is, but I booked the room via third-party, and my room was in a offset hallway from front desk. I don’t know why I was so close but To my knowledge, motels/hotels put people in the worst rooms that book third-party because they don’t pay as much. I was irritated enough that my room was conjoining. It was not a deluxe room as I picked also being that it was a Conjoined room. I felt like I had no privacy. Also, the hallway was just weird and I felt that the motel was extremely busy, but not busy - there were always groups of people standing around or Making it feel as if they were waiting for something. I’m not sure. Anyhoo I never received any room service and I was there for two days not even fresh towels. Then I seen a bug and at first I thought OK it’s only one but then I seen another. I seen a total of about three I will never be back and I will not recommend - The chips that are normally two for a dollar they charge 1.50 for the small (Everything in the vending machine). I think it’s like 8 ounce of juice they charged 1.50

Motel 6 coming in clutch! I remember the “leave the light on” commercials but dear lord. Tried 3 different motels who claimed to be “pet friendly” but turned us away because they either weren’t actually pet friendly or they accept “pets” but not cats?… Motel 6 literally saved us and we didn’t have to pay an extra annoying pet fee. Lovely room and excellent service! Wouldn’t hurt to stay here again if we needed.

First off, I was advised by the. Receptionist receptionist to book my room for today and tomorrow. Because it was a aftermidnight so that I could stay for that night. Turns out she couldn't book me in. I then had to pay another $58. Which I didn't have to stay for the night because I had no way to get anywhere else. Finally checking in the next day.I come in from smoking and the receptionist bangs on my door And accuses me of smoking in my room. When I had just come in from having a cigarette. No I had the cigarette butt in my hand because they have no place to throw cigarettes and I put it in the toilet because I do not throw my cigarette outside the ground. She then proceeded to kick me out and threaten to call the police if I didn't leave. I'm a full-time smoker,my work coat , my clothes Everything smells like cigarettes The room was not smoky and because they had a cigarette by in the toilet again due to the fact that they have no place to throw cigarettes outside and after spending money. I didn't have last night to stay when I was advised to book the room through a third party online booking service. Via the concierge at the desk. I know I'm a $140 that I didn't really have. For a terrible experience For a place that not only does not have any kind Of complimentary breakfast options which You could get for the same price at other hotels

Been here many times, rooms are clean, beds are comfy, shower heads have multiple settings for different pressure. Overall a great place to stay at good prices too, not to mention the staff is kind and attentive. Shout out to Tonya for the great customer service!!
