It is a great value, and we have stayed here more than once, getting two rooms next to each other for a family of five. The parking lot can be a little noisy at night. We have been incredibly impressed by the cleaning service, which makes up the beds daily and even rearranges our strewn power and charging cords into artistic patterns. Kudos!
The check-in went smoothly. The clerk was very nice and helpful. We were disappointed in the quality of the towels and lack of towels and no shampoo provided, which had I known I would have brought my own. But I didn't know cuz most hotels provide that, even the other motel 6s I have stayed at. Plus the second night they didn't give us another bar of soap, we just had to make do with half of one from yesterday. The location is great. Within walking distance of many restaurants shops and on the bus line. Very easy to get around town from here.
I had to travel for a family emergency and booked a room last minute. I got a good rate on my room, and the young lady at the front desk was very sweet and helpful when I checked in! I appreciated that I was given a room on the second floor. As a woman traveling alone, I prefer not to stay on the first floor/street level for my safety. The area is busy, it’s on a main street in Santa Barbara so there is some activity outside at night, but nothing that was concerning. My room was immaculately clean, my bed and pillows were very comfortable, and it was perfect for what I needed. A short distance to the beach and popular restaurants too.
Perfect. Room was clean. It smelled really good. Hosts were wonderful, I would stay here again in a heart beat. I found out this is the 2nd ever motel 6, how cool is that? Loved it. Thank you motel 6!
Very organized and consistent. Simple, clean and welcoming Motel. Great shower and water pressure, comfortable bed. Great TV/cable. Really good location. Friendly and hospitible staff. Thank you!
