We went for the annual historic festival. It was very neat seeing all of the vendors, but we got there a few hours before close. So many of the vendors were grumpy & that kind of sucked the fun out of the event. My son had lots of questions and about half of them were rude & one just plain mean. Luckily, there were three booths who were more than happy to show us their trade & let him even try on some of his personal gear, without prompting. I am on the fence if we will go back next year or not. The grounds themselves were well kept & clean. Would like to come back to tent camp. Lots of trails & one playground. The other was roped off.
If only there was a campground in small town WI, on a busy street corner, with plenty of traffic, across the street from a bunch of houses and a high school… er wait! That’s exactly what this place is! Tons of randos are always pulling into the parking lot too! A real gem! Lovely sounds of motorcycles, rusty old pickups, dump trucks and more! Oh, there is a nice park and walking trail system behind, but the camping is right up on the street corner. I couldn’t believe it when I pulled in.
My dog Alfie loves this park. It has a beautiful woody area and connects to bike trail.
Such a beautiful place to take a walk and do some exploring, my dog loves to play in the after and run the trails with me! One of the best parks in town!
I arrived today it was a nice day out and quite enjoyable. Showers and bathrooms were ok. Park is nice and presentable. I'll give an update as time goes on. Some say that I didn't even notice your music some say a bad thing I heard it. I'll pray for you to
