Beautiful campground with an excellent host. Loved our 5 night stay in late May. Randy, the host, kept a very clean campground. The vault toilets were the cleanest we've ever seen. Be prepared for changing weather at a moments notice. Will definitely return to this campground in the future. Thanks Randy.
Next to the river was great (#9) but strange shape. #12 and #11 great but near the restrooms so not recommended. Get to hot springs early, new upper pools much better!
Great campground with lots of hiking readily available. The sites and toilets were in pristine condition. Water pump was a tough way to get water if filling a camper, but very doable. Definitely on the return list.
Pretty good campground overall. Location is beautiful with access to lakes, ponds, streams, and great hiking. The skies were very dark at night, making star gazing really good. The bathrooms were also quite clean for a stall toilet. Only complaints are that the water on site wasn't drinkable (glad we brought several gallons with us), and the shade was pretty lacking.
Immaculately clean little campground and very peaceful. We loved listening to Chalk Creek at night and it’s very close to the hot springs. The camp host is very friendly and on top of it, and attends to the little details that made it more special, like a dog hitching post by the toilets.
