The upper infinity pool has views that are impeccable and the water is a great temp to sit down in for a couple hours. If you do venture down to the bottom pools there is a big pool suitable for young children (temp wise) and a very hot main pool (no areas to sit though, just stand). The lower pools in the river were really fun to explore as well. In the summer the water slide is fun too. The restrooms and the lobby area were clean and the employees were chill. Was nice to pack a lunch and sit in the warm winter sun.
We went for our anniversary and we loved it. The customer service was exceptional. We did eat dinner there and our waitress was terrible. She was slow, didn't bring the salad, and made our son wait for a drink. The food was mediocre for the dinner but breakfast was amazing! Our breakfast experience was great. Will go back as our room was cozy and comfortable. Could use new carpet in some areas.
My favorite part of our visit was the massage 💆♀️ Matt is fantastic 👌We visited on a Tuesday evening and there weren't many people. I've been here before and everything was very nice. This time I noticed the need for maintenance. The exterior lights in the pool/spa area weren't working properly. The women's locker room swimsuit spinner was out of order. 2 of the 4 toilets were running. The steam room had globs of hair on the floor.
We arrived at the Mount Preston, Hot Springs after a long day of hiking Vail, Beaver creek, the grottos in Aspen and Independence pass. We checked in very late at 10:30 PM. The staff was very efficient and we got a room right on the water. As we were leaving the hotel lobby, we got instructions on how to drive down to our room. The only issue was the signs are very hard to see… it’s difficult to navigate at night. Super dark everywhere. My only suggestion is to add some soft lighting down the stairs and around the parking lot. The room was nice and comfortable, spacious and clean. The next morning we got up and ate and a wonderful breakfast place in the lobby outside on the patio. We had the view of the chalk mountains. As we were checking out, we headed over to the springs and the water was perfect. We went to the adult springs first and then headed over to the family pool all in all, it was great. We planned on going out to the river but the water flow was too much. Fun stop & fun day. Highly recommended.
This is an amazing mountain resort. We've come many times over the years with many out of town and out of the country guests who enjoy Colorado hospitality, beautiful landscapes, and the fantastic amenities of the Hot springs resort. A great job by the property managers and a well deserved five-star review
