Mountain Creek Family Resort and Canoe Rental LLC

I have camped/floated with many outfitters across Missouri and I have never been this impressed with a Resort as much as I was with Mountain Creek. Family owned and operated and it shows. The grounds were spotless. Bus driver was friendly, funny, knew the community and cared about our safety AND made sure we had fun. The employees on golf carts are awesome. Not having to haul coolers after a long day of floating was a lifesaver. And the bunkhouse was clean and perfect for our group. Mini fridge, AC and a microwave plus the covered porch were much appreciated. Full stocked camp store and a food truck on site with a great menu helped us with items we forgot. My only suggestions, to make this amazing place even better, would be to add hooks to the walls in the cabins for extra storage, especially towels and suits, and add frosted shower curtains between the ladies showers for extra privacy. All said, we'll be back next year for sure!!!

This is our favorite campground in Missouri. Great sites, great floats, GORGEOUS bend beach on the river. ***Now they are staying open for hunters. We stayed within minutes of our stands on our family property!!! Megan the manager was so gracious and is a wonderful hostess. We go to this campground from St. Louis multiple times in each year. New sites and new cabins are awesome. Soon to be new shower houses too. Giant slide for the kids. I cant say enough good things about Mountain Creek

The resort is amazing! We camped over the weekend and the sites are spacious with shelter over the tables with a fan and light! The slide is so fun, but get there early as they close it at 6pm. The creek is fun to play in and the float we did was beautiful! Overall fantastic experience with very friendly and helpful staff! David helped us out with a water situation and we were extremely grateful! We will definitely be back!

Everything is meticulously kept, making for a pleasant and comfortable environment. Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the resort is impressive. The shower house, equipped with air conditioning, was spotless and cleaned throughout the day. This attention to cleanliness significantly enhanced the overall experience. Staff: The staff at Mountain Creek are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They are always ready to assist with a smile, making sure every guest feels welcome and taken care of. Overall Experience: Whether you’re looking for a fun family getaway or a relaxing retreat in nature, Mountain Creek Family Resort and Canoe Rental delivers. With its top-notch amenities, clean facilities, and attentive staff, it’s a place I highly recommend.

My family had a great weekend. The RV lots are grass, but they are very level and the utilities worked great. We have manual levels and didn't have to adjust anything. It has a nice, clean swimming spot and the kids loved the big slide. We could easily walk to river from our site. The office has everything you might need in a pinch. It was clean, they came around and picked up trash, even gave me a minute to run inside the camper and grab that trash too. Family friendly place, my daughter made a friend with the girl next to us the second she got out of the truck. We will definitely go again, short drive from the KC area to have a relaxing weekend.

This is my favorite campground. So many campgrounds tear down all the trees and roll in the gravel and stack you up tight. This place is like giant beautiful park. It has a large gravel bar and creek access, float trips & a giant water slide. They recently added at least 20 cabins and are building two new shower buildings, a great big child’s play place, and large general store. I have heard there may be food and ice cream when done. The newest owners have really upgraded this beautiful place. We love it. I do wish the knats weren’t so bad and it had better Wi-Fi access, but overall it’s just so beautiful and relaxing. We will always be back

Our family loves this place very much! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating! Plenty of things to keep the kids and Adults busy! We highly recommend!

This is by far become my favorite campground! Quiet spring camping great for relaxing. Summer fun with float trips and waterslides as well as beach access to the beautiful Niangua River. The new owners have done a tremendous job in selecting their full-time staff. They are always available to assist and have gone above and beyond for us so many times I’ve lost count. I can’t wait to go back and see my Mountain Creek family in June!
