Our visitors have shared their experiences, highlighting both the beauty of the location and areas for improvement:
- "This was a wonderful location with beautiful scenery and sites to visit. The cabin was cozy, and despite a few minor issues like cobwebs, it didn't detract from the overall experience. The owner was kind and helpful."
- "Overall, it's a good place for a retreat. While there are opportunities for fun activities nearby, more guidance would be welcome. The hot water had an unusual smell, suggesting the tank may need attention."

Nice place for retreat but lack of the guidance to let you know where you can go around for fun activities. Hot water in my cabin got a muddy smells I think the hot water tank is old. Overall is good.
This was a wonderful location. Beautiful scenery and sites to visit. Cabin was beautiful even w a few extra cobwebs. I will say bed needs some leveling and water pressure was poor. But in the scheme of things, not enough to keep me away. Owner was kind and helpful. Nice little shop there also.
Took a large group of Scouts down for tent camping. The folks took great care of us and were amazing to work with. It was a great place to camp and we highly recommend it.
We had a great stay! Very comfortable beds! Hosts are amazing and sweet, left the lights on for us when we were going to be a late check in. We will definitely be back!
Located a short distance from Walhalla. The name Walhalla comes from Norse mythology meaning, “The Garden of the Gods.” Located in the Foothills of the Iconic Blue Ridge Mountains. If you like hiking and outdoor activities you could not be more centered to see it all within close proximity. The Campground is a quiet special place. I personally have lived here for a year trying out each cabin for a month at a time and have really enjoyed the peace and quiet. If you have a pet or children the area is secluded enough to be very safe and private but town being a 15 Minute drive with anything you could need. There is a gas station in walking distance that has the basics and a dollar general only a 3-5 minute car ride up the hill. The owners of the grounds and staff are friendly and helpful. They keep the cabins and campground which is more like a small community clean and stocked with necessities. You will be in the woods so there are animals and bugs but nothing too serious. If you like Waterfalls Very close is Transylvania County , located in the heart of Brevard, is on the National Register of Historic Places. Transylvania County is called the “Land of Waterfalls” due to the 250 waterfalls located throughout the county. I found this place by accident and glad I did. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get a taste of mountain life.
