Mountain River Family Campground

We enjoyed our trip! The campground is very nice with the people just as nice and helpful. We would love to come back and pick a different site, more shaded with better access to the river. You have a beautiful place and a very nice getaway for families. I will definitely share our experience.

Awesome experience! We lost two tires 5 minutes before arriving. Staff came out and tried to help. When they saw it was beyond their ability, they hooked us up with a tow truck that towed us to our campsite, and a tire place that came on site to replace the tires. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, the grounds were absolutely beautiful and very well maintained, and the bath houses were very clean. Dog friendly too! We had a great time despite all our problems and can’t wait to go back!!!

This is absolutely the nicest, cleanest and well maintained campground I have ever stayed at. Not only is the place immaculate, the owners are super kind, friendly and accommodating! We came in for a 2 night stay and wanted to stay longer. Luckily they had a cancellation the day before we left and could stay another 3 nights. I highly recommend this place, and it’s in a perfect location as well!

First stay here was two years ago. Upon arrival we stop at the store check in … wow friendly super nice and out going staff immediately impressed. Quick check in, when I walked out the car I was greeted one of the staff who escorted us to campsite He even help me with back my new bigger camper. But that not all. This is the absolute most Picturesque and beautiful campground. We camp more then your average person. We prefer Mountain River over all other campgrounds. Amazing Staff, beautiful campground, great activities, super clean … seriously they area the best. Give them a try … they will soon be your favorite ….

5⭐️ We enjoyed our stay so much! The campground was super clean and we loved our site by the river! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Although we didn't use the bathhouses we did check them out and they were clean, well stocked and very aesthetically pleasing. Being a lover of flowers myself, the gardens you have planted sporadically around the campground added a very nice touch and greatly improved the whole atmosphere! The peonies were my favorite! The only bad part about our trip was that we had to leave! We will most definitely be back! ♥️
