Mountain Springs Lake Resort

My wife and I were going to have family at our home this weekend, but we found out that our goddaughter was allergic to dogs which we recently bought. Because of her allergies, we rented a cabin for their stay which is perfect since our home is minutes away. The cabin was warm and inviting, although the weather was cold and rainy. It was well-lit and spacious, the leather chairs and sofas were large and extremely comfortable. The kitchen came equipped with everything you would need to prepare and feast upon any type of meal. The fridge kept our food and drinks cold, as it should. I was told that the beds were as if they were made for them, and the closets held additional pillows and blankets. The living room had a gas fireplace that added to the overall enjoyment and atmosphere. The cabin we used sat directly on the lake. Again, due to time of year and inclement conditions which made it unusable, even with the heavy fog that this area of Pennsylvania endures it offered a mystique to the landscape. The cabin also had a beautiful porch, and just down the stairs in front of it was an outdoor fire pit. The experience for my family who live in New Jersey was one that they said they’ll never forget! The Mountain Springs Lake Resort was perfect in every way possible with terrific staff who were helpful and the nicest people you would want to know. AMAZING - AMAZING - AMAZING !!!

The resort exceeded our expectations, which says a lot because we felt confident we chose a nice place. The property grounds are very large, and spaced out. Our room suite was clean and comfortable. The bathroom/washroom/tub/sink were all designed and laid out with thought. The room consisted of two nice sitting areas outside and the room has gigantic windows which were also a nice touch. We wish we had more free time to explore the grounds, but we did go to the small beach area (which would be ideal for families), and we took a rowboat out on their lake. There is plenty to do within a short drive of the resort, so it really does make an ideal destination to stay.

This was our first time and went for 3 nights/4 days. Wish we had been able to stay longer. Came for relaxation, some fishing and to explore the local area. There was so much to do. The front desk is a class act - many thanks to Bruce for helping us choose the perfect accommodations. The housekeeping does an amazing job - the place was spotless. Such a beautiful place - would highly recommend to everyone!

What a beautiful place and breathtaking view! The service before even arriving was amazing, very professional and wonderful.. upon arriving we were greeted very nicely, we received our packets introducing the grounds and also off property adventures and dining. We were on our anniversary and I must say, we will be returning. Our luxury suite was very spacious and beautiful, the bathroom was very clean, spacious and the jet spa was very soothing... the bed was so comfortable and everything from the sheets, towels, even the tissue was top notch we had a very relaxing and enjoyable trip. We took the trail walk and it was amazing, can’t wait to visit again next year. Spent 3 nights in L12, loved every day spent there, All the best from Cordette and Ronald🫶🏽 November 2024

What a great place that isn’t far from home ( for us). The staff is so friendly and helpful, always ready to answer any questions you may have. The grounds are impeccable. The whole place is very well cared for. Our cabin was beautiful and very clean. They have everything you need in every cabin. What a great find! We will definitely be back!
