A wonderful place to unwind, ski, jog, and reunite with loved ones.
I have never been a guest at the campground but I do live and work in a very close proximity and the campground has, for the most part, never been a problem. Always well kept by nearly all residents/campers. Obviously there will inevitably be someone who seems to spoil the reputation for the other 99%... but in all, Def recommended for a "hole in the wall" location. If you want somewhere most people overlook, camp here
Very pretty campgrounds for this time of year. Without the skiing or the club there really aren't many activities the campground has to offer. There are no laundry facilities, the restrooms are subpar. There is a small activity room. Well room. Ot consists of four tables a microwave and a TV. The area around it is beautiful. There are many other things you can find to do. it's a nice place to relax for a long weekend. I recommend it but it's not fantastic. It definitely does not have that warm community summer feeling. In that area there is a large selection of other areas that I would recommend. Definitely schedule more activities away from the grounds.
Had a great weekend winter camping at Mad River Mountain Top. Camping sites are located conveniently at the top of the mountain, walking distance from ski slopes. Heated restrooms with showers on site. Colin and Kevin will ensure ur taken care of. Make a weekend of it and hit the slopes as soon as they open.
Very poor customer service. The shower house is unkept and dirty, with a broken window. Theres a few people who are running a sketchy LLC out of the campground, they will offer you free stays and anything else just to try to get you to buy a campsite. Be careful coming here don’t get scammed! If you do buy make sure to read the fine print!
