We tent camped on our way through on bicycles. Jonathan was a great host and the service was top notch. He drove to town to pick up a hot meal for us. His pup, Twix was a delight to have at camp. I’m excited to see the business grow and services added.

I was looking for something close to Albuquerque that would take a small teardrop trailer and a couple people (my son and I). Mountain View is primitive, but all I needed was there. Toilets, trash cans, exceptional scenery and a flat spot for the trailer (or a tent). This place is up and coming as far as full-service campgrounds, and I'm looking forward to coming back many times.

Johnathan's description of the property was quite accurate. On top of the amazing views you felt like you had your own piece of paradise. Our group came in with two travel railers the biggest 30 feet long. No problem finding level spot with world class views. In addition Johnathan provided a wealth of information on the local area. We are already planning our return trip.

This was an excellent campground! We had a group of 16 friends over two sites and we loved the site. The views of the surrounding country were stunning, we could see for over 50 miles. Johnathan was a gracious host, making himself available to us, and we did an arched tour with him (totally worth it). His brown dog, Twix, was the biggest sweetheart and spent most of her time with us. We would absolutely come back here again! Only downsides; there were very few portopotties and the potable water was a decent walk away. Neither were a huge deal though.

We are so glad we found this great little campground. Quiet with pretty views and we had it to ourselves. Close to 2 local mountain bike trail systems and the town of Aztec. We will definitely stay again next time we are in the area.
