Mountain View Campgrounds

We had the pleasure of staying at Mountain View this month while hunting. We were planning to stay in the forest but had an issue with our generator. We called in the evening on a Saturday and Pam, the owner, welcomed and checked us in. The grounds were well kept and beautiful with amazing views. There was a fenced dog park area that was great for the dogs. The restroom and shower area were immaculate. The showers had great pressure and ample hot water. There is a wonderful gift shop with unique items in the office and a game room. We will definitely stay the next time we are in Sundance.

Totally enjoyed our 4 day stay to explore this corner of WY. Small park with facilities that were spotless. Friendly staff that had great suggestions for things to do. Easy access from interstate & nice pull through sites. Very relaxing 4 days.

If we could give Pam and Brian more than 5 stars, we would!! The grounds are impeccably kept, clean, and well organized. Lots of spaces available for every sized RV with convenient pull-through options. Utility hookups were easy to use with no shortage of energy or water. The facilities include beautiful washrooms with lots of hot water for the showers. These were immaculately clean and super secure with lock-code access. Although we didn’t use the pool (we checked in late and left early), it appeared well maintained and spotless. The office area has a cute boutique with snacks, souvenirs, and local goods. Pam checked us in and was an absolute delight to deal with. She went over the site map to ensure we knew where everything was and how to access. She also gave us plenty of recommendations (including maps and info brochures) for local sight seeing and attractions. A discount for first responders and military was offered as well. If you are travelling to Wyoming, we highly recommend staying here for a night - or more!

What a great family owned campground. The folks who operate this clearly take pride in what they have created. Even got a phone call asking when we would arrive so she could bake cookies. Loved them btw. The sites were gravel but pretty darn level. The pool was spotless, small game room (pool table, table tennis etc) Nice laundry facility and well stocked store. Conveniently located near the interstate and easy drive to Devils Den. Highly recommend this campground. Thank you for a great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in this immaculately maintained campground. Deb and Brian are incredibly organized, there’s a detailed campground & Sundance map. She explains all the details and places to go, things to do around the area. We absolutely love the laundromat facility that’s spotless! Definitely one of the best and the only place we would stay in Sundance!
