Customer Reviews
This was our 3rd visit to this campground. Great time camping here. Site number 83 was a beautiful private site, close to the lake. Pit toilets and shower houses were kept clean. Fun playground and childrens bike park for the kids, plus a sandy beach with ice cream and yummy coffee's available to buy! Lots of easy biking and hiking paths to explore on. Will be back again!
1st time at this campground and I would recommend it and hope to stay here again. Stayed in a double site with some family and I really wish that other campgrounds would have double sites. If you use a tent, make sure to bring tent spikes as you will hit rocks and bend the thin tent hold downs. The beach was nice, lots of drift wood, but sandy. You can walk from one beach to another which is cool. Nice boat dock, but can be busy at times. Flush toilets and pit toilets. I'm male so can only speak for the male washrooms. The one washroom was cold, only had 1 toilet with no urinals and the rest of the stalls were showers which meant a long line in the morning. The washroom by the playground was warm, had 2 toilets with no urinals and a few shower stalls. Washrooms and pit toilets were clean when I used them. If you are tall, these showers suck. The shower head only sticks out from the wall about 2-3 inches so you have to be pressed against the wall the entire time. Also, the light turned off on me about half way thru my shower :( The main entrance has a building, but they don't have a staff member in it during normal business hours, so I don't know how you can buy firewood or ice and personally believe they should have a staff member at the entrance for check-in and to be able to purchase above items. Overall a great campground, no services, but they do have potable drinking water which is nice. I hope to come here again and will be recommending it to my friends.
We arrived April 3rd so the campsite wasn't open but there were open sites, though limited, available. The rest of the campground and facilities were gated off. One other camper. Pit toilet was open but was the only service. Super quiet. Great that it was free!
This place is One of my favorite lakes in BC Right now, I love the camping area especially having supper at night with the family, This is a place for large families to hangout whether in your tent or my favorite RV. I love the fact that there’s a fireplace 🔥 for cooking 🥘 it’s beautiful. There is enough space for every camper who wants to park their cars as well as their RVs. If I would go camping ⛺️ I would most definitely go camping here! It’s so peace here I love it! The camping site is just amazingly beautiful, and it’s so close to the lake which is very nice! Those of you who want to just pass through with your families with your boat for a cruise 🚢 There’s a dock for that also,it’s awesome. I love the sight of seeing and hearing those little Squirrels 🐿 and Chipmunks 🐿 yapping 😅😅😅in the bush is so lovelyyyy 💕💕💕
Placed on one of the most beautiful lakes in BC, Moyie lake, is one of the most clean and properly maintained camping parks I've been to. Has really clean bathrooms and hot showers. Also, outhouses placed strategically in different locations around the camp site which are also kept in very clean condition. What I love the most is the boat launch, dog beach and also a separate sandy beach for the none furry creatures. The sites are nicely seperated from one another have the perfect amount of space in between for privacy. Definitely give this spot a 5 star rating. Love it here!
