All time fav mountain summer & winter! Backyard gem 💎 Best skiing terrain in CA and magical all year. I just hiked Devils Backbone (see pics) on the Moonless Night. Hiked all day and finished the evening at the Notch with good food and live music! Go get outside folks! Baldy is the best!
The most rugged Mountain View’s in SoCal and the friendliest staff anywhere on Earth. Such a unique mountain experience!
Great ski/snowboarding place. Great view with the lift even no ski/snowboarding. I suppose it would be great to take the lift up and down, again and again. During my visit, it is hot and not enough snow so that there is only the artificial snow not natural ones. Only one lane is open and the more difficult remains closed, waiting for more snow to gather. The top of nortch restaurant is somehow expensive but the food is worth at such a high mountain.
Amazing instructors, stunning views super nice people. This place is a hidden gem, if you’re thinking of learning to ski, give this place a shot and you’ll certainly love it!
I just went for a drive, I grew up crawling all over mt baldy, but have not been there for over 20 yrs. I love mt. Baldy, if you have never been GO! It’s an easy drive, lots of places to pull over and enjoy the views, lots of hiking trails, when it snows they keep you roads clear, but I like it after winter when the snow melts, lots of water falls. It’s great and close by.
