Customer Reviews
We spend two months at Mount Hood Village Campground and truly enjoyed our time there. It is such a beautiful area. The park itself has a lot of long term residence and have been working the clean up some of the eye sore sites but some of the site are beautiful and covered in flowers and trees that people have growing around their RV. The park is huge it has I believe 4 long term living areas a short term area, a ton of non hook up sites, tiny homes and even a community of homes at the park. There are fun trails that lead you through the woods and moss covered trees. It’s beautiful! The Salmon River runs behind the park and is fun to go there with the kids and dogs. There are plenty of hiking trails in the area ranging for easy to hard. It is really such a beautiful place to be. The park workers were all very friendly and the maintenance guys were always working hard to keep the pool in clean working order, the bath houses clean and the overall park in good shape. We lived in Cedar Ridge site #44. There were so many kind long term people in the area that have been there for a very long time. We have a 42 foot 5th wheel and found the site back in the trees to be tight for someone as big as us. Doable for most sites but some turns are a bit snug. Sandy is a super cute town 15 minutes up the road with multiple grocery stores and other things you’d need. The park had a little gym, pool, hot tub and a sauna in the bathroom. They have an indoor game area and an outdoor play place for the kids. We enjoyed our time at the park and loved the beautiful trees covering the mountain surrounding the park. We always felt very safe there and let the kids ride around the loop
My family and I had an excellent stay here. Perfect location for heading up the mountain. Lots of stores and restaurants near by. Rooms were clean and we'll kept.
Mt. Hood is an awesome park to stay at if you enjoy the outdoors. It is connected to the park next door and the ridge you can climb is beautiful. The bike riding is awesome (Sandy Ridge MTB system is nearby, and the roadriding available with Barlow Rd heading up to Lolo pass is great. The facilities are great. The park sometimes attracts people who dont take care of the park - this isnt a TT issue, its an RV park user issue, and its hard to escape it no matter where you go. We've had great stays and bad stays due to the neighbors. The staff that I talked to were thoughtful and polite, and didnt have that 'burned out' vibe that lots of TT park staff have. Absolutely beautiful park with tons of stuff to do if you go outside.
We had a great time. 2 adults, 2 kids in a deluxe cabin. Affordable & good service. Close to Mount hood and Sandy
The people there are AMAZING!!! Michael, Tammy and Brandy could NOT be more helpful. I really like them and appreciate that they went the extra mile for us. The sites are what you would expect from Thousand trail campgrounds, the market was limited too. The pool looked good although we did not get in. The area is gorgeous with PLENTY to do or if you just want a peaceful, pretty quiet get away. Restaurants are near by and Michael made some great reservations. Everyone at the park was respectful of one another and it was quiet by 10. The best part of the park is the people running it!! Excellent customer service!
