Customer Reviews
Best KOA we’ve been to. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our trailer spot was great and the WiFi worked well for TV streaming. Lots for the kids to do, including bike trails. Only about 15 minutes to Lassen volcanic NP. Highly recommend!
Amazing location!! Very friendly staff, went above and beyond. The pool is in great condition, clean and well maintained. The store is big and well stocked. The sites are in great condition, and the swing set area was just magical for my little kiddos. Very fun and family friendly!! My kids can’t stop talking about their stay, it’s a definite stop on a family road trip.
The Shingletown KOA is our kids' favorite place to stay. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the grounds are well-kept and cleaned, and the activities are so much fun. Our kids especially love the tree swings and the playground. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming again next summer!
We had a fantastic stay at this campground in our motor home with the family. The staff was incredibly friendly and the site was well-maintained. When our levelers failed, the maintenance guy was exceptionally helpful, referring us to a reliable RV repair service and lending us tools to fix the issue. It was a huge relief and made our trip stress-free. Highly recommend this place!
We had a great three night stay in one of the tent spots this past weekend while visiting Lassen Volcanic NP. The location *and* the fact that they have an EV charger cannot be beat. There are simply no other EV chargers within 40-50 miles of the north entrance of the park, so this was literally our only option. But I’m glad we had this option, but this was a great campground for our family. The facilities are spotless and well cared for. The amenities are plentiful and helped keep our kiddo entertained while we weren’t at Lassen. I appreciated the showers in a clean restroom and the outdoor dishwashing station definitely best using the dish tub we usually use on camping trips. We’ll be back!
