I recently visited Mt. Wilson Skyline Park Picnic Site and it was a wonderful experience. The park has so many great viewing areas to check out and explore while taking a leisurely walk. You can access the outer roads at night. Very few people and gorgeous view. Be careful driving up as there are rocks dropped on the curvy roads.
This is absolutely hilarious.... Standing right next to all of these towers and communication satellites and antennas.... We had no cell phone coverage.
Surprisingly accessible. Well maintained. Outstanding is not a strong enough word to describe the views...just amazing vistas! Tours of the telescopes. An astronomical museum. Radio antennas and cell towers. A cafe that has food. Bathrooms. Much much more
