Murphy / Peace Valley KOA Holiday

Just spent a week here. It was awesome. Great spot along the water. Bathrooms were clean and awesome shower in the ladies. Staff was awesome and friendly. They have a game room available and events for kids. Painting pumpkins during my stay. For Adults, the casino is next door. I will definitely come back again.

Our family recently stayed at the Murphy KOA, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly staff (Dee, Lisa, Kayla) who were eager to help and ensured our experience would be enjoyable. The campsite itself is beautifully maintained. The amenities were top-notch—clean restrooms, well-maintained showers. We also appreciated the picnic tables and fire pits at each site, which made it easy to enjoy outdoor cooking and cozy evenings by the fire. The location is stunning, surrounded by the river, which we enjoyed tubing and a close drive to a few waterfalls- great for easy hiking, tubing and picnics! It was Labor Day weekend and this KOA had 3 nights of live music, 3 bounce houses and food trucks. It kept the kids and adults fully entertained! Whether you're looking for a peaceful getaway or a base for outdoor adventure, this campsite has it all. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to return. Five stars all the way!

The staff here were all so helpful and friendly. Bathrooms were always clean. New owners as of May and they are working hard to update. They will be paving sites and redoing cabins this winter. We had a pleasant stay and will come back.

My husband and I chose KOA Murphy, NC for our vacation. It was a perfect choice as we had a fantastic vacation in this beautiful campground. The owners and staff were so hospitable and friendly. We wanted a quiet vacation and it was so peaceful. I highly recommend this KOA and we would love to stay there again!

This RV resort/campground is just stunning! So glad we came across this place. And didn't want to leave! And my fur babies SO enjoyed it! Beautiful location, the river that runs along the grounds makes it all the more peaceful, enjoyable and relaxing. The trees give it just enough shade to keep it cool. The dog park is the largest, most open park I've seen. So much room to run! And so clean! All of the workers, D, Ethan, Kayla and the woman in the office (so sorry i forgot the name!) are ALL so, extremely kind, friendly and hospitable! Always working to keep this place looking its best and making sure all guests are happy. Definitely going to miss this place, but we will definitely be returning! Thanks to all there for making our stay memorable! 🙏

Spent 5 nights in April...what a gem of a location on a gently babbling brook (small river). So peaceful to hear from my cabin, sitting on the screen porch...and the soft rain on the tin roof of the screen porch...Mother Nature's music :) The cabins were being renovated and hopefully will be completed by the time I return in October. Glad to see the new owners actively updating the campground. They have truly got an incredible opportunity with this property! One of the biggest assets of this campground is the staff! They were so responsive to my requests and full of information on the area. Dee and Kayla both were a pleasure and a big part of the reason I booked my next week in October as I was checking out.

We love coming to this KOA in Murphy. It's quite, clean and set up very nice. Dee, Kayla and Lisa are always around to help with any concerns or questions. Some sites back up to the water to where you can walk or tube in it. If people enjoy a casino, it's very close by.

Excellent campground and facilities. the staff that runs it is what makes KOA my favorite place to vacation. Dee and the gals are extremely helpful and on point with needs and local knowledge. they treat everyone like family every day rain or shine

We have been staying here every year for the last 25 years and continue to look forward to the next year with greater anticipation. The staff/service is outstanding, the location is phenomenal and the beauty is remarkable. Cleanliness, friendliness and attention to detail by the staff is absolutely unparalleled! The ONLY complaint I have is the WiFi, which is abysmal and unreliable at best. And since the TV service is internet dependent, when the WiFi is down, there is absolutely no electronic entertainment to enjoy after hours or during inclement weather. This NEEDS to be addressed. Otherwise, with the one exception, we absolutely love everything about this place.

Our favorite campground by far! Dee, Lisa and staff are wonderful, they go out of their way to make you feel like family!
