Murtaugh park and campground

This place is beautiful, it's well kept and the camp host is friendly with great hospitality. Our kids loved the playground and my husband loved the fishing, tons of species here. The bathrooms are always clean and well stocked with tp. The price is unbeatable for what they offer. I definitely recommend it!

We absolutely loved our overnight stay at Murtaugh! It's a small, quiet, well maintained park with a super kind and friendly host. We were there in September and he was relatively new but the nicest host we've met in a long time! We heeded the advice of the signs and opted for the gravel parking spot for the tent since we were setting up after dark! Figured the car could get wet, not the tent and sleeping bags! We woke in the morning to the most beautiful sunrise on the lake and the kids were able to get full use of the little park before we headed out. We'll definitely be back, it was a lovely stay!

It's a beautiful place to bring your camper, we stayed at the the cove side, Novacek area. If you plan on tent camping be aware that they run sprinklers Mon-Thurs night. The camp host can't turn them off. The tent area under the big trees as shown on my videos, have sprinklers that come on from 1am to 3am. They do section by section so the last sprinkler will be done by 3am. Be prepared. Look for the sprinkler heads and set up tents in between but prepare for it. They are loud so if you are a light sleeper camp on the weekends lol. Other than that it's not a pretty bad place.

This is an awesome campground. The hosts were nice. The camp was quiet. Fish were biting. Camped right beside the water. Well maintained. We'll be back soon.
