We had a wonderful stay here. Rented the cabins which were clean and had everything we needed. Owner is a Veteran so we love that! Though Army not Marine, lol! I really liked that it was small and I was comfortable with the kids riding their bikes around. Nice little swimming area with beach. Very close to Michigan adventure. May make this a yearly trip!

This is one of our regular campgrounds. We stay here 2 or 3 times a year. Steve, owner, is an Army Vet. I look forward to chatting with him when we stay here.

DO NOT CAMP HERE, If I could do no stars I would, hands down worst campground I have ever been to, no wonder they want nothing to do with KOA, maybe KOA doesn’t want to be affiliated with them anymore, they put up a good front but sadly the only good thing about this place is the somewhat nice cabins, the playground is great for little kids not a 10 & 12 year old, they never had the jumping pillow inflated or any signage about why and it looked like it needed repair, the man runs around smelling like an open bottle of alcohol, we met with family at MI Adventure for one of the days we were there and one of our family members left some stuff in our bag, my husband went to the entrance of the campground to meet them to give them their things and the owner wanted to try and charge $5/person and argued about it when my husband told him they were not staying hence why they were met at the entrance so they did not have to come into the campground, there was a storm that knocked out the power so there was no running water either the next day, I watched the lady who greets you at the front desk, empty the toilets of fecal matter and she walked them to the swimming area and dumped them with in a few feet of children playing in the water, talk about horror, we left immediately after that, we had another night paid for but already knew these people would not refund any money due to an act of god that is unforeseen circumstances so I didn’t even want to bother to try, they had an issue over $20 they wanted for people who had pulled up in front of the property
