Not sure why people so high rate this campground. Feels like people never visit another campgrounds. So much people concentrated in so small area, camp sites so small, you sit next to each other and hear what people talking about. Camp site was so dirty, garbage everywhere. Good points: 1. They have WiFi, but it doesn't work, because of so many connections. 2. They have water on every camp site (that's unique). 3. Great beach.
A one night stay as the weather was most agreeable. Very quiet as only two other sites being used. Took advantage of the illuminated trails across Senic Drive at the Muskegon sports complex for a nice hike after dark. The lake views are great.
The campsites were very nice, and the bathrooms were very nice and clean. I love how close we were to the beach and had a beautiful view. The beach was well taken care of. Overall it was a great experience!
Beautiful beach Clean and peaceful camp We felt safe thanks to the guards regularly patrolling, silently and slowly We watched the sunset and it was very special Ice cream nearby worth to go The showers are large and clean Squirrels and others animals showed themselves We didn't get bitten by bugs or mosquitoes and we didn't bothered putting spray or any products to prevent them We loved our camping experience here Thank you
