Absolutely loved this place! The couple that is running it are amazing! They make you feel at home right away and they are super helpful! Everything around the campground is clean and organized. You can tell they really care for it. The shower there was the best shower I'd had in a few weeks on the road! It was great. Also, they have fun gift shop with all sorts of souvenirs and gifts and a lot of necessities too. They are perfectly located close to everything you would want to see in the Redwoods there. They also have laundry facilities! I absolutely plan on going back! P.S. We were in a tent this time so I don't know about the rooms, but we perked in one and it looked really cute and we met the cleaning lady, she was sweet. I'm sure the rooms are worth the money!
We absolutely loved staying at Mystic Forest! Patrick and his family were so nice and welcoming. Our kids loved playing with his. The spot we were in had great Wifi. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were hot. The laundry room had a decent amount of washers/dryers. It's perfectly located in the middle of all we wanted to see. Patrick gave great recommendations on where to go as well. The biggest perk for us was the large off leash dog area. We would definitely stay there again!
What a nice little campsite this was. Hot showers! There were only 2, but for a holiday weekend, it wasn't overcrowded at all. The camping spots are each partially secluded, which was nice, and each had a pit or pot for making your camp fire. We preferred the great outdoors and our tents, but they had rooms as well. The little store up front was open until 9p.m. and the great hiking spots were all very relatively close. The area was clean, no foul odor, rules in place to keep it polite, there was a cleaning station for dishes and trash take out. We had a nice time.
We stayed in one of their tent sites and it was a great experience. We were coming off of a 4 day rafting trip and needed a place to stay on the coast for a couple days that had showers and laundry. It was just far enough from the city to feel like we were still camping, but close enough to run back into town when we inevitably forgot something. They had ice, firewood, laundry, clean showers and bathrooms and the staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.
This is a great place for camping, tent or rv. The owners are super nice and helpful. They have well maintained heated bathrooms with showers and a laundry room. They also have a gift shop of which I bought two t-shirts. We tent camped and had a lot of fun. There is also a gas station and store just down the road. We went mid-September, and the weather was perfect. It never got below 50 degrees overnight. Mystic Forest is a great place to enjoy nature with your family and friends.
