I camped here for my first camping outing a couple years ago and it’s a great spot. It’s well maintained and close to town but still private enough to get a good nights sleep. Grass is well kept, and so is the public bathroom. Big enough spaces for a few tents, or small campers. Right on the water. Definitely wanna go again.
Beautiful place to be. The fishing is fantastic and the small towns are very inviting. Hope to visit again soon.
Beautiful views, quiet and peaceful. We could dock our small boat at our site. Very clean outhouse.
Beautiful rustic campground. Awesome boat launch.
This campground is on the floodwaters, so it's a bit like being on a swamp. The mosquitos can be really bad. It's your basic rustic state forest campground, but only a couple of the sites have decent access for your boat. The fishing can be good, but not as good as years past. It is normally quiet unless people show up to party. It's not a bad place, but there are definitely forest campgrounds I like better.
