Nature's Resort Campground

Reserve the First month, then deposit a second month before knowing what was to come. showed up for the first night went to the office told them I was here. I said I would not be staying a second month. I would like my deposit back.. they said oh we’ll put it towards Electric bill. I said no electricity is included. They laughed at me. so I went to park. Holy shit this place do tight no space to breathe. they call it a resort nothing is included no electricity no cable, which is stated on their website, people check this place out before you come or you will regret it. also Wi-Fi if you call it that ,back from day one it hasn’t really worked, in and out.Friday night steak dinner at the bar I ordered medium rare, I got raw steak could not eat. I do not believe the steak was cooked at all.My wife ordered medium. She got well done waitress never came around. Asked us how anything was pretty bad for 50 bucks. Will not be back to this place

I’m giving this mediocre stars because it’s a really nice campground and really nice view of the canal. However I had reserved the tiki Bar in the back of the campground for a celebration of life, I’ve called three times and talked to several different people. Confirming on how many new people will be there and what I can or cannot bring and when I get there, the bartenders had nothing but attitude, and it just talked a bunch of shit about other things and during your presentation The bartenders did not stop talking and someone had to tell them to please be quiet so it just was not the best experience for the day. Update: I did speak to the manager and he was sincere however we did tip the bar tenders generously and they were still rude.

Beautiful park and friendly, helpful staff. Perfect location to launch a kayak or small boat for fishing or manatee watching on Halls and Homosassa rivers. Tgere are lots of long-termers and a real sense of community. While still recovering from the effects of two huricanes last year, they have done a great job cleaning up and refurbishing. We are Floridian, but still come here for a respite.

We are annual visitors and love having sites with water access. Very crowded on Holiday weekends. The breakfast on the weekends are great. Bar gets a little loud, but very nice staff.

Rented a cabin for a weekend trip. It was much more than I expected. The cabin was clean, stocked with linens, and dishes. The cabin had AC, tv, internet, cable, full size stove, and refrigerator. It was located right across the street from the water which had a boardwalk that boats could be tied too. You could also fish from it. There was live music on Friday night when we arrived at the marina along with excellent food. In the morning, we had breakfast at the community center which was also very good. They have a pool and dog park. Close to several state parks which have numerous outdoor activities. The people and staff were friendly. The location is close to convenience like grocery stores, pharmacy, and fuel. I highly recommend visiting you won’t regret it!
