  • Basic Amenities: Each campsite includes picnic tables, a BBQ, and a fire pit.
  • Vaulted Toilet: A covered building portapotty is available, though some campers suggest bringing their own camping toilet for added convenience.
  • Limited Phone Service: Phone service is limited, but some signal may be available near the bathroom.
  • Payment via Envelope: Payment is made using envelopes provided at a board in the parking lot. Information about costs is available online.

Visitor reviews emphasize the fun and adventurous atmosphere of the campground, particularly for those who enjoy dirt bike riding. The lack of amenities and the primitive nature of the campground mean it is best suited for campers who are comfortable "tuffing it out." The beginner's track and direct access to riding trails make it a popular destination for off-road enthusiasts.

We have now camped out here twice! Having the ability to camp and ride the dirt bikes is the best!! Love it! We even decided to have a Thanksgiving camp out for the first time! Total success! It's got 6 camp sites, first come, so if you're planning to camp, the earlier, the better, so that you are able to claim a spot. You can not reserve a site online or anywhere else. The sites are also used for day use, usually for riders. There is also a beginners track right behind the campground. You can get the info online about costs. There is a board with envelopes for payment at the front of the parking lot. There is one covered building portapotty. There are no large dumpsters, so plan to pack your own trash out. People should know it's definitely not for the high maintenance people, as there are no electric hookups, nor is there water. If you don't have a generator or lanterns, it's probably not for you! There are picnic tables, a BBQ, and a firepit at each site. There is also no phone service. However, we were able to get some near the bathroom, so if you're down for riding dirtbikes and tuffin it out, you'll be fine and have a blast!

So fun to camp and ride! Can't wait to go again! They have a vaulted toilet there but it's better to bring your own even if it's a camping toilet seat the you click on to a 5 gal bucket and have trash bags withh kitty litter in it!

The Staging area is open but the road to the campgrounds are closed with the road being partially washed out. The rain has changed the trails a bit with more ruts and rocks on the trails. There are a lot of gnats that bug spray might help with.
