Overall had a great experience here. The rooms are extremely clean and the view is great. Never busy and always quiet. The housekeeping staff is thorough and kind. The front desk staff were very helpful when there was a maintenance issue with the room I had booked and had to be moved to a different room type. The staff was on top of it and moved me to a larger room with a kitchen as soon as one became available. Highly recommend!
Well, the rooms aren’t terrible but they’re far from great. Half of the outlets don’t work, there’s no A/C, oh and the staff may steal your personal belongings. None of the security cameras watching the rooms work, go figure. Get a CNA and find somewhere else to stay.
Awesome view great location. No Stayed there twice. Terrible experience freezing cold, no heat at all. Had to order electric blankets. Had to sleep in our clothes with jackets on the first 2 nights. For the price, and on a military base. I sure did expect better. Wont recommend and will never go back. And this was in JUNE!!

One of my favorite places to stay in San Diego. Open Lensa rooms currently do not have AC or heaters so plan accordingly. You most likely won’t even know that you don’t have those. The hotel is pet, friendly, and the pet friendly rooms are downstairs right in front of the grassy area. There’s a nice little track for running right out front and a private little beach. The staff was extremely friendly. This place is also a great place for cycling - easy to ride off base into San Diego and back. Not my first time here nor will it be my last period always beautiful when I go.
