Customer Reviews
We loved this small quaint KOA. We were on a road trip to Arizona with our dog, I loved how easy it was and how cute our cabin was. The pool was too cold but it looked clean. The recreation room was the cherry on the top. We spent our night watching VCR movies with a puzzle and snacks. Small library too. Staff was great!
Very good campground to stop at when traveling through on I-40. Easy access to and from the highway. Nice clean restrooms and a full service laundry with plenty of machines. A playground with swings. The pool is quite refreshing on a hot day and relaxing after a long travel day. Friendly staff to help you check in and knowledgeable of local restaurants.
Are we visiting the same location? How does this KOA get such good reviews? The only thing I can think of is that the people working here are friendly. This location is absolutely disgusting and the owners obviously stopped caring a long time ago. Mold, dirt and lack of maintenance everywhere. The cabins don't have a fridge like all the other KOA cabins we've been to. The AC unit was filthy. The restrooms are disgusting and need a lot of repairs, or should just be replaced at this point. The showers consist of two shower curtains and they lack space to put any clothes or toiletries. Mold everywhere. The laundry room is disgusting and the dryers don't work properly. We've had to dry our clothes twice. The Wi-Fi barely works and we used our own most of the time. Skip this location and go anywhere else. This was the worst KOA we've been to so far.
Beautiful serene site, easy to get to from the highway. Felt safe when we arrived after hours. Map layout is straightforward and pull through sites are nice with some privacy of bushes and a picnic table. Well kept, clean and quiet!
Big clean campground, leveled spots full hookups, good Verizon and T mobile services. Very nice lady in the registration office. Pretty sunrise, pool and dog park. Near I 40 , u can hear the road noise.
This KOA is in the desert and shade is minimal, as would be expected. The grounds are well-kept and surrounded by huge oleanders with an occasional palm tree, gum tree or willow. Registration is in a cute store with varied tourist items. Postcards are still 3 for $1.00! The owner, Carla, is very pleasant with a warm heart toward cats. The dog run is 30’x40’, very clean and fenced well. Inside, there are two benches and a covered bench swing directly outside the fence. Poop bags and a trash can is provided. The dog area has horse shoe posts if that’s your game. The laundry room is clean and open 24 hours. The campsites are level and we didn’t need to level ours. Lampposts are spread throughout the RV areas. These provide sufficient lighting without glaring into RVs. We will certainly return on our next trip.
Stayed at this KOA to visit the Burros in Oatman and on the way up to Las Vegas. Friendly staff, easy to manuver in park and pull thru site was perfect for our 40' Class A Rig that tows a 14' trailer and also a prius for our drive around car. Good price for KOA and what is around to explore. Not too far off the interstate, but far enough so no road noise. Did use the pool and seemed good. FHU site, all worked well and good location for our rig. One of the better KOA's I've stayed at for sure and great value for the price.
The only RV Resort I've stayed where the pool is open BEFORE Memorial day! Gotta give credit to them for that. Other than that, it's the most run-down KOA I've ever stayed at from east to west coast. It does the job for a one-night stay, nothing crazy. It also has a nice store full of many items and gift shop.
Fine campground for a one night stay. The staff is nice and the spots are level. The pool was very cold eventhough it seems to be always hot in Needles. The restrooms and showers were not great and need some work. Atleast put lockable doors in the showers instead of 2 shower curtains.
This was primarily a campground and that was the service we used. The spots were tidy. We enjoyed the area for exploring. The dogs loved the dog park. There were good meal options nearby. The staff were helpful and congenial.
