The Camp Host was great, we had Spam & coffee, he supplied the eggs and good company. It's a way out there, but peaceful and great place to easily explore and kick back for a few days. (Inexpensive, clean, but pit toilets and well maintained porta-pottys).

The peaceful serenity was on high and the host was very helpful and even gave me some fresh eggs from the morning's hens (BTW the best eggs I've ever eaten) and a bundle of firewood for the start of the night. 🌙

A cute little community park with lots of fishing! The camp spots are very basic (handmade benches and stone fire pits, port a potties only). A great place for fishing and a quick stretch your legs, but there’s no officials trails to walk on.

We stayed June 17th through 19th 2024 6 of us and 2 little dogs Dan the host was and is a wonderful grace going out of his duties and achieving one of the greatest costumer service as well as telling how the campground upgraded itself over the last few years ,landscaping being the largest !!!! Mid June means not all bugs are out however when we were there I can't even say mosquitoes bothered us!!!!! Crawdads were everywhere and no fish swimming galore and countless peace along the river and old-fashioned dug out stairs so without wifi or other utilitiesNESIKA.... IT IS A MUST STOP AND STAY
