Customer Reviews
We enjoyed staying at Netarts. Loved being near the water to see the seals, seagulls, cranes, and listening to the ocean. Wonderful campground with restrooms and laundry facility, full rv hook-ups, great friendly staff, area to clean crabs and fish and a dog area. There's a community sitting area with a big fire pit and coffee and pastries available for purchase in the office building. Staff are available to boil guests crab and take guests out on the boat to go crabbing. I felt very safe camping alone with my daughter at Netarts. Other guests were polite. Once a guest leaves a campsite, a staff member attends to the site, ensuring the electric panel is in good working condition and the site is clean and ready for the next guests. I'll definitely be back again.
What a beautiful RV park! This place is peaceful and just lovely. We were there for 2 weeks and this was a great spot on it's own and also a great home base for the area attractions. The flowers in the park are vibrant and huge and just made me smile on every walk with our dog. We loved walking to the water to see the harbor seals, eagles, and so many other birds. The staff is kind and helpful. The coffee and pastries are a fun treat. We rented a boat and went crabbing. They made that process so easy for us Coloradans who had never been crabbing. We had so much fun here. I could spend a season here, for sure. Thank you for such a lovely place!
We didn't rent a room or stay in an RV. We rented a boat to go crabbing for two hours. The guy running the place was a little short with us. I guess I get it since we were a few minutes late. I was all out of sorts because I had never been crabbing before and wasn't sure of the rules. I wanted to go back to the car for a minute to grab my beanie and the guy told me no, that I had to stay there until he was finished. because everyone had to be there. He then proceeded to talk to the main guy in our group for several minutes (I could have gotten my beanie and been back in shorter time than he took) so low that I couldn't hear a word he said. He listed off a bunch of rules that my boyfriend said were ridiculous because everywhere else they had rented boats from didn't have rules as strict as this place. No smoking on the boat (I get this one; no one wants a bunch of cig butts in the water or all over their boat), have to wear the life jackets at all times or he would pull the boat, no going into certain areas or he would pull the boat, etc..He listed off several more items but i can't recall atm what they were. We only caught two male Dungeness that were keepers, and 4 rock crab. The rest were either too small or females that we had to toss back. When we went to leave, there were several other crabbers that had the same turnout we did. In fact, everyone we talked to had the same, two males to keep and a ton of females they had to toss back in. When we brought the crab back to the place to be cooked, the guy cooked them up for us, and was nice enough to get a couple pictures of us with our two crab. We proceeded to clean the crab. I cleaned the biggest one because I caught it and it was my first time. Holy disgusting but I got through it with flying colors! Yay! The guy working there failed to send us with ice for the crab though, knowing we were from out of town. We just had to walk away with cooked and cleaned crab in our bare hands. I brought a cooler but there was no way I was putting that in there without some sort of casing and ice. We had a two hour drive to get home at the very least. My boyfriend, who has gone crabbing in this area many times before, said he would not recommend this place as there are many others that are a lot friendlier and helpful. He mentioned Kelly's Marina, and said they were great.
Decent place to stay. Spaces are extremely cramped, difficult to get even a pull through in. Zero cable and wifi. No service from Spectrum. Staffers are pleasant. Not easy to get to the water.
We stayed in our camper. Beautiful, clean location. Friendly staff. We will be back
