Great hiking area and vistas of the area from atop the local hills, numerous valleys and gullies to explore. Foxs, Coyote and even bear are in the area. There was water in the wash and there are several smaller streams. Great 4x4 trails traveling up Apache Canyon to the end of the road after which you can drive up the river bed another 5 miles.
