Customer Reviews
This campsite is beautiful. We loved how quiet it was, and the views are amazing. It is only accessible by Elephant Hill, a somewhat difficult 4x4 trail. We did drive the trail multiple times to look at the other campsites nearby, and after doing so we felt New Bates Wilson was a better site. It is near the end of the trail, on the way to the Confluence Overlook. While it is just off the trail, absolutely no one drove by during the three days we stayed there (Devils Kitchen campsites appeared to be more heavily trafficked). Note: you will need to bring a portable toilet to this site.
Great spot in a pretty quiet area. The views are incredible!
