Nice park.. very large grassy spots, picnic table, dog park friendly staff, wifi was great, overall nice place bathrooms need updating. Noise from interstate is kind of loud, not so much inside. We would stay again
We stopped here just for a night on our way elsewhere and I have definitely bookmarked this as a place to visit again. It’s quite a hidden gem! The sites are pull through with full hookups and they are long and spacious. It was very easy to navigate. The dog park is well maintained with lots of activities for the pups to check out. The bathhouse is a little outdated but very clean and thats what matters most anyway. I regret that we didn’t have more time to check out other amenities but we will be back. What was even more amazing than the park itself was the customer service! The initial call to book was handled by someone throughly knowledgeable and very friendly. I had to call again on the day of our arrival as a blowout on our travel trailer set us back time wise and she couldn’t have been nicer when filling me in on the late arrival procedure. It’s clear that guest service is paramount and that’s among the many reasons we will be back to visit!
This was a great place to stop overnight on our way to Florida. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and nice, and the sites are nestled between rows of trees. Our site was relatively flat so we didn’t have to disconnect. The reason for only three stars is there is much of the Campground that is old and definitely in need of upgrading / refurbishing. Our electric box did not have a breaker and honestly looked in terrible condition. (I was glad that I had a surge protector!) However, I did not have any issues with the electric. The bathroom was also old and much in need of refurbishing. The dump station was so bad we had to use an empty campsite to dump. It had rained and the pipe at the regular dump site was literally at the bottom of a pond. Having said all that, we might stop there again as the price was reasonable ($35 for water/30amp) and it was literally right off the highway, so very convenient for a quick overnight.
Nice park. We only needed a stopover for the night, and didn't feel like doing the Walmart thing, so called ahead. They had several pull through sites, price was reasonable $34 electric and water only, they left a check in package with a map, All good. I saw a nice dog park here, and they have a pool. Looks like a nice setup. No pads, but pretty level grass sites.
Not sure why anyone would leave a negative review, this is a great place for folks passing thru. Clean sites with full hookup for $44 a night is a sweet deal. This place is huge and sites are pull thru and can accommodate big rigs. Nice dog park that you can tell used to be a putt putt course ages ago. Booking was a breeze, i called 2 hours before arrival, paid when we got there, easiest check in ever, literally took 2 minutes. Very conveniently located right off the interstate and cracker barrel is across the street. What more can you ask for?
