Customer Reviews
Clean restrooms, easy to access, and great proximity to all of the bouldering at New Joes.
A good place to camp for bouldering. Two pit toilets, no water. A bit of a drive to left and right fork... but it has cell service! If you are tent camping, stay closer to the highway. The lower spots are very rocky unless you can go all the way down where it gets sandy again.
(BRING MOUSE TRAPS IF CAR CAMPING) Only complaint is that I had mice crawl into My car each night I stayed there. Not really the campgrounds fault, but definitely detracts from the experience. They were all up in my vents and the inner workings of the car, and I could hear them all night long. If one dies in the vents it can be a terrible stench that lasts a long time, and they can also chew through wires and damage your car. Be careful.
There are two new pit toilets now! Just make sure to bring your own toilet paper and leave the area cleaner than when you came! Such great camping!
I rated it 3 stars because of two major things. 1 It was snowy and muddy which isn't the sites fault. 2 there are no trees in the campground.
