Niagara Falls State Park

Visiting Niagara Falls State Park was an absolutely stunning experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking views and the majestic power of the falls. The park is beautifully maintained, with well-marked trails and ample information available for visitors. One of the highlights was the Maid of the Mist boat tour, which allowed me to get up close to the roaring falls – an exhilarating experience that I will never forget. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, ensuring that everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience. I also enjoyed a leisurely walk along the Observation Tower, which provided panoramic views of the falls and the surrounding landscape. The park offers various spots for picnicking, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty. The visitor center was informative, offering interactive exhibits and detailed information on the history and geology of Niagara Falls. It was fascinating to learn about the efforts made to preserve this natural wonder, and I left with a deeper appreciation for the park's ecological importance. Overall, Niagara Falls State Park is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a blend of adventure, beauty, and tranquility. I highly recommend it to families, nature lovers, and anyone looking to create unforgettable memories.

It's lovely to see the Falls from the US side as well as the Canadian side. Every season gives a different perspective to this honorary 8th wonder of the world. Seeing a rainbow over the Falls made my trip extra special. There are beautiful walking trails to enjoy with seating areas dotted around. Well thought out for both the young and not so young. The Cave Of The Winds looks awesome! When we visited it was having some work done on it so we missed out. Does get extremely busy during the warmer months and finding a parking spot takes some doing.

Niagara Falls is a fantastic place to visit, especially with family. The Maid of the Mist boat ride is absolutely worth it—the power of the falls up close is incredible. Just a heads-up: you’ll definitely get wet, even with the poncho they give you. It’s a good idea to bring an extra set of clothes (shirt and pants) and wear sandals or water-friendly shoes instead of regular shoes, as they’ll likely get soaked too. The park itself is really well-kept, with clean restrooms and easy-to-navigate walkways. Be sure to check out Prospect Point, Luna Island, Point Observation, Cave of the Winds, and Terrapin Point—all offer unique views of the falls. If you’re there in the evening, stick around for the 10 PM fireworks show, which is the perfect way to end the day. Overall, it’s a memorable experience you shouldn’t miss!

We came out to see the Falls in February and they were absolutely breathtaking! I have never seen black squirrels before and they were EVERYWHERE in the park and definitely not shy… my daughter had a blast feeding them. We are already planning on going back when it warms up.

Beautiful State Park, and the views are amazing. Make sure you take water resistance shoes & comfortable shoes. Everything at the park is very expensive. Take snacks or water if you don’t want to pay double the price. Lots of picnic areas to eat.
