Ninemile Prairie Campground Introduce

Ninemile Prairie Campground, categorized under Campgrounds & RV Parks, is located in Bonner, MT 59823. This is a small campground with limited sites, offering a more secluded camping experience.

Based on customer reviews, Ninemile Prairie Campground offers:

  • Only four campsites.
  • Cell phone reception.

However, potential visitors should be aware of the following:

  • Reports of significant noise from the nearby Paws Up shooting area, including extensive gunfire.
  • Concerns about changes to the local environment, including increased livestock presence and perceived impact on river access.
  • Possible wildlife sightings, such as deer and elk, depending on the time of year.

The limited number of sites at Ninemile Prairie Campground suggests a quieter experience compared to larger campgrounds. However, the proximity to the shooting range and the reported noise levels should be a significant consideration for those seeking a peaceful camping environment. The reviews also indicate potential environmental changes in the surrounding area, which might affect the overall experience.

Yeah Nadine's personal California idiots have ruined the valley since they filled it with cows, I personally think it's ridiculous they took over the best parts of the river bottom all through the greenough valley. There is good fishing on the next one down, lots of deer and elk depending on time of year, they ruined most the places they lived there too.....

Nice spot. Only 4 sites. Has cell reception. But I've been listening to nonstop gunfire from Paws Up shooting area. At least a 1000 rounds in the last 2.5 hours and it doesn't seem like it's ever going to quit. Brought my dog camping for the 4th of july to get away from the fireworks in town but this is not the place I should've gone.

Lovely drive, roaming horses, beautiful views, and extremely quiet besides the gunshots off in the distance. The area around Blackfoot River was fun for us to trudge through with our dogs. There’s lovely wildflowers and interesting rocks. Only 4 sites but we arrived on a Monday and two sites were open. Lots of flies but not much mosquitos! Which is typical for a campground close to a very fast river. No water, but bathrooms. Bring your own potable water. Smaller to middle sized RVs fit in all the sites. We had nice warm days with random breeze. All sites have fire pits. We paid $18 a day since we did not have a fishing license. Bonus: T-Mobile reception is great- three bars. Four stars because the flies drove me nuts- but we still greatly enjoyed our stay!

Great location with easy access to river. Bathroom was very clean. Most campsites are smelly and gross.

Only a few spots but I was there in July and two were free. Road is not bad...little bumpy. I would not say it is the best fishing spot as it is along a long straight stretch of the river..but there is a pit toilet, which is nice.

Paws Up has ruined this area. You're paying to listen to their gun range all day. Non-stop rifle and pistol shooting just across the road.
