Customer Reviews
I honestly liked the old campground better but went with a friend who was looking into purchasing a “Park Model” (which includes the Resort Lot) starting at $249,000. I noticed they are still on wheels and wonder how they could be classified a “permanent vacation oasis.” My friend is still considering purchasing one but before he does, he wants to confirm what happens if the campground property is sold by the current owners (does he still own his Park Model and Resort Lot?) and what additional costs are associated with his property (common charges, maintenance fees, etc.) after he purchases it. On the positive side, the campground is only a 2 mile walk to Main Street in Greenport.
I didn't realize this place had been ELIK, not that I knew much about that campground either. I was just looking around for RV parks and this popped up. The campsites were tight, but land is at a premium out there, the property was well maintained. The office seemed friendly but unorganized but they got the job done. The location cannot be beat. Easy bike ride to downtown Greenport and the wineries. The facilities were clean and they had some activities. I really look forward to going back.
We've been coming here for over 15 years. Great new ownership and love the work they're doing on the grounds. Very clean and kept up. We come here at least six times each summer. Very dog friendly!
Great renovations! The buildings looked great. There is a nice pool, clean bathrooms, laundry, fire truck rides, ice cream man, wood & ice delivery. Bounce house, archery targets, basketball and tennis court. Sites are nice and have a fire ring, water and fire electric hookup. Only complaints: RC track nonexistent, playground was great but had a huge ground hornet living in the sand. Also the person with a huge middle finger flag was off-putting but whatever. Parking an additional car or visitor cars was an upcharge. The location is close to the town and ocean. Most ocean access requires town parking sticker. There are a lot of activities to do nearby.
It's fun if you're a party person but don't go here to relax. Honestly there is so many dogs that it does smell like dog pee almost everywhere. And there's nobody patrolling how early the dogs bark how late the dogs bark and how late people are out partying. Don't consider this a restful campground. When I was there the grass was also seriously overgrown and I was really afraid of ticks
